About

Northern California Fertility Medical Center (NCFMC) is a Sacramento fertility practice that has worked with patients in the region for more than three decades; business databases give its founding year as 1992. In October 2024 the practice was acquired by Ivy Fertility, a national network of fertility clinics, and it now calls itself an Ivy Fertility clinic.

The clinic is based at 4320 Auburn Boulevard in Sacramento, under medical director Dr. Michael Murray. Its physicians include Dr. Manuel Doblado, Dr. Sahar Stephens and Dr. Philip Chenette, who joined in 2025, along with urologist Dr. Suzanne Generao, who treats male infertility. The embryology laboratory is directed by Jin Han, PhD, HCLD. It performs ICSI, assisted hatching and embryo biopsy for preimplantation genetic testing, and it reports its outcomes to SART.

Services include IVF, IUI, genetic testing, egg freezing, evaluation of recurrent pregnancy loss, male fertility care, egg donation, surrogacy cycles and family building for LGBTQ+ patients. The clinic also has a dedicated service for patients travelling from outside the area.
