About

The Fertility Institute of Hawaii (FIH) is an independent reproductive medicine practice founded by Dr. John Frattarelli, a reproductive endocrinologist who is also certified as a high-complexity laboratory director. The clinic opened in Honolulu around 2010, and its physician team now includes Dr. Anatte Karmon and Dr. Emily Goulet.

The main center is at 1585 Kapiolani Boulevard in Honolulu, with an in-house IVF laboratory accredited by the College of American Pathologists and equipped with time-lapse embryo imaging. Physicians also see patients at satellite offices in Kailua, Hilo, Kona and Kahului, covering Oahu, the Big Island and Maui.

FIH provides IUI, IVF with ICSI, INVOcell, preimplantation genetic testing, egg, embryo and sperm freezing, oncofertility care, male infertility evaluation, donor egg and donor sperm cycles, embryo donation, gestational carrier IVF and LGBTQ+ family building including reciprocal IVF. A dedicated international program serves patients from Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Canada, and the clinic lists staff speaking Mandarin, Japanese, Korean and several other languages.
