Community Fertility Specialty Care

Community Fertility Specialty Care is the reproductive endocrinology and infertility practice of Community Health Network, the Indianapolis-based nonprofit health system, and operates through its physician group, Community Physician Network. The program has also been listed under the name Community Reproductive Endocrinology. Its medical director is David E. Carnovale, MD, a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist who previously directed assisted reproduction at a practice in Macon, Georgia.

The clinic sees patients in a medical office building at 7250 Clearvista Drive on the north side of Indianapolis, near the Community Hospital North campus, and draws on the health system's hospital laboratory for testing and procedures.

Care covers fertility evaluation, ovulation induction and IUI, IVF, and egg and embryo freezing, along with fertility preservation and reproductive surgery. The practice also coordinates donor egg and donated embryo treatment and works with single women. Because it sits within a larger hospital system, patients can move between fertility care, obstetrics and other specialties inside the same network.
