Austin Fertility Institute, PA

Austin Fertility Institute (AFI) is a private reproductive endocrinology practice founded in 2010 by Kenneth K. Moghadam, MD, who remains its medical director. Dr. Moghadam is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, and completed his fellowship at the University of Cincinnati.

The practice is based at 2200 Park Bend Drive, Building 2, Suite 201, in north Austin. It works alongside two affiliated facilities: Austin Fertility Laboratory, which handles andrology, embryology and cryopreservation under its own laboratory director, and Austin Premier Surgery Center, an ambulatory surgery center used for fertility procedures.

AFI evaluates both female and male infertility and offers ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination, and IVF with ICSI and assisted hatching. Its surgical services include laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and microsurgical tubal ligation reversal. Third-party options such as donor sperm, donor eggs and gestational carriers are available, and the practice welcomes gay and lesbian couples and single parents through its LGBT family-planning services.
