About
Atlantic Reproductive Medicine Specialists, which now operates under the name Atlantic Fertility, is an independent fertility practice in Raleigh, North Carolina. It was founded by reproductive endocrinologists Dr. David Walmer and Dr. Susannah Copland, and Dr. Copland remains with the practice as co-founder.
The clinic is located at 10208 Cerny Street, Suite 306, in north Raleigh. Its model puts female and male fertility care under one roof: the team includes several reproductive endocrinologists, a reproductive urologist (Dr. Matt Coward), a reproductive psychologist, and on-site embryology and andrology laboratories run by a PhD lab director.
Services cover fertility evaluation, ovulation induction, IUI, IVF with embryo genetic testing, INVOcell, a NeedleFree IVF protocol, egg freezing and fertility preservation for women and men, and male fertility care such as semen analysis, sperm retrieval, varicocele treatment and vasectomy reversal. Its in-house program, Shared Beginnings, offers donor eggs and donor embryos, and the practice also treats LGBTQ+ patients and those working with gestational carriers. Patients travelling from other states and countries can use virtual consultations and a reduced-visit schedule.
