Omid Khorram

About

Dr. Omid Khorram is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and the medical director of University Fertility Center in Torrance, California, a practice he founded in 2006. Before coming to Southern California he directed reproductive endocrinology at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, where he helped set up its assisted reproductive technology program. He holds both medical and doctoral degrees and has a long academic career at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where he is now an emeritus professor-in-residence. As an investigator at The Lundquist Institute at Harbor-UCLA, his laboratory studies non-coding RNAs, including their role in uterine fibroids and in how poor maternal nutrition can program later vascular disease in offspring.
