Pedro J. Beauchamp

Dr. Pedro J. Beauchamp is a reproductive endocrinologist and the founder of Puerto Rico Fertility Center in Bayamón, where he established his practice and the island's first IVF program in 1985. A San Juan native, he graduated from Boston College and received his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 1976. He trained in obstetrics and gynecology at Johns Hopkins Hospital and completed fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania from 1980 to 1982. He then joined the IVF team at the University of Texas at Houston before returning to Puerto Rico. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, including its reproductive endocrinology and infertility subspecialty, and is a Fellow of ACOG and the American College of Surgeons.
