Jin-Ho Lim

Dr. Jin-Ho Lim is an infertility specialist listed among the physicians of Neway Fertility in New York City. Based in Korea, he founded Maria Fertility Hospital in 1989, where his team achieved the first natural-cycle IVF birth in Asia, and he is known for his work on in vitro maturation (IVM) and natural-cycle IVF as simpler, lower-stimulation approaches to treatment. He also heads the Maria Biotech Institute in Seoul, which derived Korea's first human embryonic stem cell lines, several of which were registered with the U.S. National Institutes of Health. His recent research has focused on simplifying IVF and on human placental stem cells.
