Michelle Kappy

About

Dr. Michelle Kappy is a reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist and board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist at Spring Fertility in New York. She earned her medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School, completed residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center, where she was administrative chief resident, and trained in REI at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Her clinical interests span diminished ovarian reserve, egg and embryo freezing, endometriosis, fertility-focused hysteroscopic surgery, LGBTQ+ care, oncofertility, PCOS, preimplantation genetic testing, recurrent pregnancy loss and third-party reproduction. Her research looks at IVF outcomes, insurance coverage and access to fertility care, and fertility preservation for patients with cancer. She emphasizes clear communication and shared decision-making.
