Virginia Fertility Associates, LLC, SGF Jones Institute

Shady Grove Fertility Jones Institute (SGF Jones Institute) is the Norfolk, Virginia office of Shady Grove Fertility (SGF), a practice founded in Rockville, Maryland in 1991 and now a founding partner of US Fertility. It carries on the clinical work of the Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School, the program founded by Drs. Howard and Georgeanna Jones that produced the first U.S. IVF birth in 1981. SGF announced in May 2021 that it would acquire the institute's clinical practice, and SGF Jones Institute opened on July 1, 2021.

The office is at 601 Colley Avenue on the Eastern Virginia Medical Center campus, in the institute's former space, and serves the Hampton Roads region. Several reproductive endocrinologists practice here, and monitoring is offered on weekday and weekend mornings.

Services include fertility testing, semen analysis, HSG, IUI and IVF. The office also offers donor egg, sperm and embryo programs, genetic screening and testing, IVF cycles with a gestational carrier, egg freezing, fertility preservation for people with cancer, and LGBTQIA+ family building.
