About
The Center for Reproductive Medicine and Fertility is the fertility program of University of Chicago Medicine, the University of Chicago's academic health system. UChicago consolidated its reproductive endocrinology and infertility services into a dedicated center in 2005 with its own assisted reproduction laboratory. The section is led by reproductive endocrinologist A. Musa Zamah, MD, PhD, and its physicians include a specialist with additional fellowship training in recurrent pregnancy loss.
The main fertility office is in Chicago's South Loop at 1101 S. Canal Street, with care also offered at UChicago Medicine sites in Hyde Park and suburban Hinsdale. Patients can choose in-person or telemedicine consultations, and the clinic provides ultrasound, blood work and cycle monitoring on site.
Services include fertility testing, IUI, IVF, egg freezing, donor egg and donor sperm treatment, fertility preservation for cancer patients and survivors, male infertility evaluation and recurrent pregnancy loss care. As part of a full academic medical center, the program coordinates with other UChicago specialists for conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids and PCOS, and it offers family-building services for LGBTQ patients.
