About
Northwestern Medicine Center for Fertility and Reproductive Medicine is the academic fertility program of Northwestern Medicine and Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Its physicians are faculty in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, which is led by Dr. Emily Jungheim and performs more than 500 egg retrievals a year.
The center is in the Lavin Family Pavilion at 259 East Erie Street in Streeterville, on the Northwestern Memorial medical campus, and has its own embryology laboratory. It is open seven days a week for monitoring and procedures.
Treatment options include ovulation induction, IUI and therapeutic donor insemination, IVF with ICSI, preimplantation genetic testing, donor egg and donor sperm cycles, gestational surrogacy, sperm retrieval and reproductive surgery. The program has a fertility preservation team that offers egg, embryo, sperm and tissue banking for patients facing cancer treatment, as well as a Recurrent Pregnancy Loss Clinic, a PCOS clinic, psychological support and assisted conception for same-sex couples.
