Surrogate Prime is a Houston-based gestational surrogacy agency co-founded in 2022 by Wenny Chen, who serves as executive director and CEO, and Jason Zhang, who previously spent eight years as laboratory director at a large Texas fertility clinic and now directs client success. The founders say their team brings more than 15 years of combined experience in surrogacy and reproductive medicine.

The agency's main office is at 3903 Bellaire Boulevard in Houston, with a second office on the Grand Parkway in Katy. Its small staff includes a surrogate intake specialist and a case manager.

For intended parents, Surrogate Prime handles surrogate recruitment and screening, matching, and coordination of the medical, legal and emotional side of the journey; for surrogates it explains compensation and arranges screening and counseling. It serves single parents, same-sex couples and cross-border families.
