About

Center of Reproductive Medicine (CORM) was founded in 1993 by reproductive endocrinologist Vicki L. Schnell, MD, and grew into a multi-office fertility practice across the Houston area. In January 2022 it joined US Fertility and adopted the Shady Grove Fertility name, now operating as SGF Houston. US Fertility is the physician-partnership network formed in 2020 by Shady Grove Fertility and Amulet Capital.

The Clear Lake office at 1015 W. Medical Center Blvd, Suite 2100, in Webster is the practice's original base. According to US Fertility, SGF Houston's IVF laboratory and an ambulatory surgery center are located in the Clear Lake area. Physicians seeing patients here include Dr. Schnell, John R. Crochet Jr., MD, and Candice O'Hern, MD, supported by an advanced practice nurse, and the office offers early-morning monitoring on weekdays and weekends.

Services include fertility testing and semen analysis, ovulation induction, IUI and IVF with genetic testing of embryos, egg freezing and fertility preservation for cancer patients, donor egg, sperm and embryo programs, gestational carrier treatment, and family building for LGBTQIA+ patients.
