Cascade Cryobank

Cascade Cryobank is a sperm bank in Lynnwood, Washington, founded in 2021 by pathologist Dr. John Carpenter, who also serves as its medical director. In March 2026 it was acquired by Fertio, the Danish parent company of European Sperm Bank. Cascade keeps its own name.

The bank and its laboratory are located on 36th Avenue West in Lynnwood, north of Seattle. It is FDA-registered, CLIA-certified and licensed by Washington State. It recruits local donors aged 19 to 39 and no longer accepts anonymous donors. Every new donor is either Open ID or part of its Early Disclosure Program. Under that program, families can request the donor's name and basic details after the child is born; a counselor-supported meeting is possible if both agree.

Registered users can see full donor profiles for free. The bank sells IUI and ICI vials for clinic treatment or home insemination and works with single mothers by choice, LGBTQ+ couples, including those doing reciprocal IVF, and couples facing male infertility. Vials ship across the U.S., and international shipments can be arranged on request.
