About
Boston IVF was founded in 1986 by a group of physicians including Dr. Michael Alper, as one of the first freestanding, private-practice IVF centers in the United States. It grew into a multi-state network, joined the IVI RMA group in 2024, and in 2026 its clinics were rebranded as Everleap Fertility, the US brand of IVI RMA North America. The Waltham office now operates as Everleap Fertility Waltham.
Located at 130 Second Avenue in Waltham, west of Boston, this is the network's flagship site and the former Boston IVF headquarters, housing its largest IVF and embryology laboratory. Egg retrievals and IVF for several satellite offices in the region, including Springfield, are performed here. The care team includes a group of reproductive endocrinologists, among them the Northeast regional medical director, plus fellows in reproductive endocrinology training and advanced practice providers.
Treatment options include IUI, IVF with ICSI, egg freezing and other fertility preservation, donor egg, donor sperm and donor embryo programs, and IVF for gestational carrier arrangements. Family-building services are offered to single parents, LGBTQ couples and transgender patients.
