About
Audubon Fertility is an independent fertility practice in New Orleans, founded in 2011 by reproductive endocrinologist Dr. Lindsay Wells with the aim of offering personalized care in a small, close-knit setting. The clinic belongs to the Fertility Specialists Network, and its physician team now also includes Dr. Keith Isaacson and Dr. Soumia Brakta, supported by a nurse practitioner.
The main clinic sits on Magnolia Street in Uptown New Orleans, with a nearby annex used for monitoring visits and consultations. More advanced procedures take place at the Vivere-Audubon Surgery Center on Napoleon Avenue, which also houses the practice's IVF and andrology laboratories.
Treatment options range from ovulation induction and IUI to IVF with ICSI and preimplantation genetic testing, along with reproductive surgery and care for Asherman's syndrome. The practice offers egg freezing and oncofertility preservation, and works with donor eggs, donor sperm, donated embryos and gestational carriers. LGBTQ+ patients can pursue options such as reciprocal IVF; because Louisiana law restricts gestational surrogacy when donor gametes are used, the clinic refers some of these cases to partner facilities in Texas or Florida.
