Emily Spurlin

Dr. Emily Spurlin is a reproductive endocrinology and infertility physician at Alabama Fertility Specialists in Birmingham, Alabama. Raised in Tuscaloosa, she completed her undergraduate studies at Wake Forest University and worked as a clinical research coordinator at the National Institutes of Health before earning her medical degree from the University of South Alabama. She trained in obstetrics and gynecology at Columbia University Medical Center–New York Presbyterian Hospital and completed her fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Washington University in St. Louis. She was among the first graduates of the Society of Reproductive Surgeons' Surgical Scholars Track, and her main interest is minimally invasive gynecologic surgery to improve fertility outcomes, alongside fertility evaluation, patient education and treatment planning.
