Southern Surrogacy

Southern Surrogacy is a regional gestational surrogacy agency serving Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Alabama, with a presence in Atlanta. The agency is now part of Bright Futures Families, a national surrogacy agency co-founded by sisters Jennifer White and Ellen Trachman, and some of the former Southern Surrogacy staff have joined the Bright Futures team. The Southern Surrogacy name is still used for its program in the South.

The agency recruits and screens surrogates across these five states and matches them with intended parents, guiding both sides from application through delivery. It emphasizes local, in-person relationships, knowledge of each state's surrogacy laws, and familiarity with the candidacy requirements of fertility clinics in its referral network. Clients are referred to local medical, legal, financial and counseling professionals as needed.

Southern Surrogacy works with LGBTQ+ intended parents and offers dedicated information on gay surrogacy. Through Bright Futures Families it can also support intended parents and surrogates outside the region.
