Saipan IVF Center

Saipan IVF Center is a reproductive medicine clinic in Garapan on the island of Saipan, established in 2024. Because Saipan belongs to the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, a U.S. territory, the clinic operates under U.S. federal law. Its medical director is Dr. Gary G. Ramsey, a UCLA-trained physician, and its embryology work is led by Irena Lalic, MSc, a senior embryologist trained at Leeds.

The clinic occupies the third floor of the Bank of Guam building in Garapan. Its laboratory uses MIRI time-lapse incubators, vitrification for egg and embryo freezing, and equipment for embryo genetic screening.

Services include IVF with ICSI, PGT-A embryo screening, egg and embryo freezing for fertility preservation, an egg donation program and gestational surrogacy, with family-building options for single people and same-sex couples. The center is set up mainly for patients traveling from abroad, with a typical stay of about 10 to 14 days for egg retrieval and IVF. Care coordinators communicate in Mandarin and English, the website has Simplified and Traditional Chinese versions, and a consultation office operates in Beijing.
