Quest Surrogacy, LLC

Quest Surrogacy is a Portland, Oregon gestational surrogacy agency created by and for the LGBTQ+ community. It was founded by Jae Evans, a Black, queer parent and four-time gestational carrier, after she and her partner encountered discrimination while working as surrogates with other agencies. The agency launched as Queer Surrogacy and later renamed itself Quest Surrogacy after its content was repeatedly flagged and restricted on social media; its mission and queer leadership were unchanged.

Based on NE Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Portland, the agency matches LGBTQ+ intended parents with LGBTQ+ gestational carriers and also works with single parents, mixed-orientation couples, transgender and non-binary people, and allies. It vets partner attorneys, psychologists and medical providers for LGBTQ+ cultural competency and supports carriers through screening, matching, pregnancy and delivery.

Quest Surrogacy works with families nationwide and describes itself as queer-, Black- and woman-owned.
