About
POMA Fertility is a privately owned fertility practice based in Kirkland, Washington, on the east side of the Seattle area. The clinic takes its name from the pomegranate, a traditional symbol of fertility, and the fruit appears throughout its branding. The practice says its core team has worked together for about 13 years.
The main clinic is at 12039 NE 128th Street, Suite 110, in Kirkland, and a satellite office in Bellingham serves patients in northwest Washington. Reproductive endocrinologists Dr. Ronald Beesley, Dr. Michael Opsahl and Dr. Audrey Messelt lead the care team, which also includes nurse practitioner Dr. Anne Judge and a physician assistant. IVF is supported by the clinic's embryology team.
POMA provides infertility evaluation, IUI, IVF with ICSI and embryo freezing, and preimplantation genetic testing. Fertility preservation covers egg and embryo freezing. It also runs a donor egg program that matches patients with egg donors and recruits new donors. Other services include male fertility evaluation and family building for LGBTQIA+ patients. A wellness lounge offers supportive therapies, and the POMACare program provides financial protection for IVF cycles.
