Egg Donor America

Egg Donor America is an egg donation program that operates alongside Egg Bank America, a frozen donor egg bank, under the same management. Both were founded by reproductive endocrinologist Pierre Asmar, MD, who serves as medical director. They share an office with his practice, Washington Fertility Center, at 4316 Evergreen Lane in Annandale, Virginia, and serve families in the Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia and Baltimore area as well as patients who travel from elsewhere.

The program recruits and screens egg donors, including interviews and a nurse-led case management process, and follows ASRM guidelines and FDA donor rules. Intended parents can search the donor database and arrange a fresh donor cycle, or buy vitrified eggs from the frozen egg bank. Frozen eggs are shipped to the parents' chosen fertility center in the United States, and the bank offers a blastocyst guarantee on qualifying egg cohorts.

The program works with single parents and with same-sex and opposite-sex couples, and welcomes international intended parents. The website is available in Spanish, French, German and Italian, and staff speak Arabic, French, Spanish and Vietnamese.
