California Cryobank

California Cryobank is a donor sperm bank founded in 1977 and headquartered in Los Angeles, California. It is part of CooperSurgical, a women's health and fertility company, and over several decades it has supplied donor sperm to families in all 50 U.S. states and more than 40 other countries.

The bank recruits sperm donors and puts them through a multi-stage screening process covering medical history, infectious disease and genetic testing before their profiles are published in an online donor catalog. Family-building consultants help recipients compare donors, and a genetics team is available to answer screening questions.

Vials are shipped overnight to clinics and homes in the United States, and international delivery can be arranged through the customer service team. The bank also offers discounted storage programs for vials reserved for future siblings, along with a Sibling Registry and other resources for donor-conceived families.
