Michael Sobel

About

Dr. Michael Sobel is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist who joined the Cooper Institute for Reproductive Hormonal Disorders in January 2021. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 1984 from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and then pursued a clinical and research fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. After fellowship he stayed on the Jefferson faculty as an assistant professor in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology, and he later practised with a reproductive medicine group in the Philadelphia area before joining Cooper. He has more than 30 years of experience treating and teaching in reproductive medicine and has published in peer-reviewed journals.
