Juan Alvarez

About

Dr. Juan Alvarez is a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist at Kindbody in Chicago. He earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta and then trained in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at UCLA/Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles. He is board certified in both Ob/Gyn and REI. His interests include third-party reproduction, fertility preservation, diminished ovarian reserve and the effect of obesity on fertility, a subject he studied during fellowship. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, he has a particular commitment to LGBTQ+ fertility care, and he places strong emphasis on patient education.
