Suzanne D. Degelos

Dr. Suzanne D. Degelos is an embryologist and andrologist who has served for more than 26 years as laboratory director at the Center for Reproductive Medicine (CRM) in Mobile, Alabama. She is credentialed as a high-complexity laboratory director (HCLD) overseeing the clinic's embryology, andrology and endocrinology laboratories. She earned her bachelor's degree and a master's in reproductive physiology at Louisiana State University and her doctorate in reproductive physiology at Virginia Tech. Her research has focused on testicular thermoregulation and how heat affects semen and embryo quality, with publications including work in the Journal of Andrology. At CRM she also meets with IVF patients before treatment and started the clinic's embryology class for patient education. She is not a physician; her role is laboratory and scientific.
