Pacific Reproductive Center

Pacific Reproductive Center (PRC) is a family-owned fertility practice in Southern California led by medical director and chairman Rifaat D. Salem, MD, PhD, who trained in medicine at USC and holds a doctorate in neuroendocrinology from UCLA. Shala A. Salem, MD, who joined in 2009, also practices with the group. Besides Torrance, PRC has offices in Glendale, Irvine and Corona.

The Torrance office at 3720 Lomita Blvd, Suite 200, serves the South Bay and the wider Los Angeles area. The clinic has a licensed fertility laboratory on site and is open on Saturdays. PRC also runs in-house embryology and genetic testing labs.

Services in Torrance include semen analysis, ovulation induction, IUI with partner or donor sperm, conventional IVF and lower-dose Mini IVF, frozen embryo transfer, egg freezing, and PGT, which can also be used for gender selection. The practice treats recurrent pregnancy loss and offers reciprocal IVF and family-building support for LGBTQ+ patients. It also coordinates egg donation and gestational surrogacy, and pairs medical treatment with integrative care such as nutrition guidance and acupuncture.
