Fairfax Cryobank

This is the Philadelphia branch of Fairfax Cryobank, located at 3401 Market Street, Suite 205, in the University City area of Philadelphia. The bank itself was established in 1986 as the cryopreservation division of the Genetics & IVF Institute in Fairfax, Virginia, and today operates a headquarters there plus branch locations in Texas, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, California and Florida.

The Philadelphia office serves as a local pick-up and drop-off point. Donor sperm inventory is kept at the Virginia headquarters; patients can order vials to be shipped to Philadelphia for collection, or have them sent there for storage, with a day's notice required before pick-up.

Through the wider bank, clients can browse screened donors with expanded genetic testing and identity-disclosure options, get help with donor selection and home insemination, and arrange storage of sperm, eggs or embryos.
