Dr. Rafat A. Abbasi is a reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist at Columbia Fertility Associates in Washington, DC, with particular interest in recurrent pregnancy loss and repeated implantation failure. She received her medical degree from Liaquat University of Health Sciences in Pakistan, completed residency at St. Joseph's Hospital in Towson, Maryland, and trained in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Georgetown University Hospital, with additional research experience in the pregnancy research branch of the National Institutes of Health. She also served as a physician in the U.S. Army at Fort Belvoir and Brooke Army Medical Center. She holds board certification in obstetrics and gynecology, reproductive endocrinology, and clinical reproductive immunology, and is a clinical assistant professor at Georgetown University.
