Lawrence B. Werlin

Dr. Lawrence B. Werlin is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist who has practised in Orange County since 1982 and now sees patients at HRC Fertility's Newport Beach office. He founded Coastal Fertility Medical Center in Irvine, where he serves as medical director, and earlier founded and directed the fertility services program at Hoag Memorial Hospital from 1986 to 1995. He is a longtime member of the clinical faculty at the University of California, Irvine, where he holds the rank of professor in the REI division. He completed a National Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine at the National Institutes of Health, chaired a validation committee for the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology, and led several studies of preimplantation genetic diagnosis.
